چکیده

• Limited effect of temerping at 400 and 500°C on non-ausformed crabide-free bainite. Dilatometric contraction occurred for ausformed bainite sample due to cementite precipitation. Carbon diffusion was enhanced by dislocations generated during ausforming processes. The influence tempering 500 °C two bainitic ferrite microstructures obtained via pure isothermal transformation followed the studied in a medium C-Si rich steel. To understand dilatometric behaviour mechanisms carbide-free decomposition, extensive microstructural characterization using scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, microhardness measurements were conducted. softening negligible both microstructures. Tempering led remarkable signal an sample, while showed slight contraction. main mechanism governing changes decomposition as-ausformed highly dislocated plates and/or film-like retained austenite into as result carbon diffusion. While did not size plates, higher temperature thickening testing conditions. However, restricted bainite, which related pinning very small precipitates, moderate effects hardness reduction.

Microstructural Evolution of X45CrNiW189 Valve Steel During Hot Deformation

The hot compression tests were carried on X45CrNiW189 valve steel (X45) in the temperature range of 1000– 1200 °C and the strain rate range of 0.004 – 0.5 s-1 in order to study the high temperature softening behavior of this steel. For the exact prediction of flow stress, the effective stress-effective strain curves were obtained from experiments under various conditions. On the basis of experi...

Morphology Feature of Nanostructure Bainitic Steel after Tempering Treatment

The microstructure characterization of tempered nanocrystalline bainitic steel is investigated in the present study. It is found that two types of plastic relaxation, dislocation debris and nanotwin, occurs in the displacive transformation due to relatively low transformation temperature and high carbon content. Because most carbon atoms trap in the dislocation, high dislocation density can be ...

Microstructure Evolution during Tensile Deformation of a Nanostructured Bainitic Steel

In situ neutron diffraction experiment was used during tensile testing at room temperature to examine the changes on the percentage and texture of both ferrite and austenite in a nanocrystalline bainitic steels transformed at two different temperatures 200°C and 300oC for different times to achieve the same phase percentages. Both samples showed an inadequate capability of austenite to transfor...

Hot Deformation and Processing Window Optimization of a 70MnSiCrMo Carbide-Free Bainitic Steel

The hot deformation behavior of a high carbon carbide-free bainitic steel was studied through isothermal compression tests that were performed on a Gleeble-1500D thermal mechanical simulator at temperatures of 1223-1423 K and strain rates of 0.01-5 s-1. The flow behavior, constitutive equations, dynamic recrystallization (DRX) characteristics, and processing map were respectively analyzed in de...
